At apparently random times (without control), it seems that while blinking, there is a brief flash in which my perception of time* and awareness to various stimuli increases by a very noticeable amount. This does not seem to have any definite trigger, and strangely enough, does not frequently figuratively derail trains of thought completely**, and in fact, is often followed by what seems like a few seconds of having two parallel trains of thought***, after which there seems to be some confusion. Is this likely to be a harmful indicator of some damage or might it be something more mundane?

* In the sense that normally, what is an hour feels like only about ten or fifteen minutes and in this case, 5 seconds can feel like 30 seconds
** Perhaps, picture an unrealistically light train making a sudden turn that quickly leads back to the point at which the train left the main track
*** Much like having two trains traveling on the same track at the same time at the same 3-places, to continue the analogy

REVISION: Reduced run-ons to more acceptable lengths, removed most recursion

I think I partially experienced the loop effect while attempting to read your divergent post. Diagnosis= boredom.
