Panic attacks: aftershock
I had a panic attack at work last night, pretty severe. I was staving it off for about an hour before I couldn't handle it anymore, so I gave in. My breathing was quite heavy and uncontrolled for at least 30 minutes.
About 20 minutes after I had calmed to the point of moving again, which was, nearest I could tell, about an hour after I lost control, my chest and neck both hurt badly.
I've had my fair share of panic attacks, but I'm worried that I really hurt myself. After my right lung collapsed spontaneously in 2010, I'm paranoid about any respiratory issue.
Had anyone else had a similar aftershock? It's been a full 24 hours, and I still feel horrible. Did I just strain some neck muscles and and bronchial passages?
Any input is appreciated! Thanks
