Too bad no doctors even know about this stuff in my country. I had depression, NVLD, anxiety, and PDD-NOS before.

Noopept takes away the anxiety, and I don't have traditional depression, but it's easy to set me off crying for little reason. I think the drug has something to do with it. I wish doctors in my country had some clue about this stuff.

Has anyone else taken racetams for autism, NVLD, or social anxiety and had a similar experience?

Noopept is supposed to increase the connections between the right and left brain and enhance emotional response (so I thought it would help improve my blunted affect, which it has).

when you accept your emotional package, you accept both positive and negative emotions. life is all about learning how to manage them both.

Probably way off the mark, but you reminded of when I stopped taking any various SSRI's. When you started taking noopept did you stop taking another one of your medications?
Uncontrollable crying is common of SSRI withdrawal, and if you're unlucky enough I think it can last for months.

No, but noopept acts in the opposite way of most SSRI's, which is why I took it. These side effects dissipated after about two weeks of taking it. I am no longer experiencing abnormal (for me) emotional instability.
