Hi,

Look Seroquel is intended for people with schizophrenia and bipolar and major depression issues.

100mg? Are you kidding me? a 100mg is for someone with Bipolar Type 2. Myself at present 25mg - 50mg.

To be honest I suffer a major depressive disorder (unipolar borderline to bipolar) however recent developments suggest I might actually have Bipolar Type 4: Rapid Cycling. Which is a form of mixed state between Bipolar Type 1 and Type 2 (Cycling moods, depression, elevation, etc to various intensities) according to "DSM-IV-TR #296.0–296.89" and has a higher suicide rate. To me I fall asleep and reduces the depression and keeps the chemicals in the brain level. For the mood, it will be lithium as apparently they go hand in hand. Seroquel for the depression and Lithium for the mood? Well i am not sure whether i will enjoy the metal taste :(. What sucks you need to have a certain level of lithium in your system at all times for your moods to be controlled effectively so the blood tests will come.

What you described sounds like you have no mental complications hence you are experiencing these effects. I never knew they would prescribe seroquel for sleep aid? Wouldnt that be valium for short term use?

I was told seroquel has no major side effects on people with the above conditions. I also got told that its not for people to take who do not have a major depressive disorder, etc

Perhaps not taking it and getting some proper sleep aids that belong to a different group (Doxys) and not ant-psychotics might be a good start.

You don't sound psychotic do you?

Did you intend for your post to be a reply to an existing thread rather than be a new thread? The content of your post implies you are replying to someone (unknown) and several of your comments make no sense without context.

I was given seroquel for aspie symptoms. It was extremely numbing and I quit it. I wasn't even on high doses, it was the beginner doses.
