Ephedrine is horrible for your blood-pressure. I used to take it as a teenager to pull studying all-nighters but it gave me horrible anxiety and palpitations,
Does it raise blood-pressure or lower it? Do you guys know of any natural stimulants that raise blood-pressure & don't mess with anxiety or OCD too much? My girlfriend has naturally low blood-pressure & feels tired alot which is partly related to depression & anxiety issues as well as the low BP. Her GP suggested putting her on a stimulant before but she changed her antidepressant instead & a couple times sense then & is now on Wellbutrin in addition to Buspar for anxiety & N-Acetyl Cysteine for OCD(that's helping it alot). She also takes Allegra for allergies, inhaler(1puff a day usually) for asthma, & prescription Aleve for pain but she may ask about switching that to a different med) she recently started going to physical therapy 1ce a week for the pain. She's against taking any additional meds rite now but not against switching if they don't seem to be working or have bad side-effects. She is open to trying a natural stimulant thou so I would really appreciate it if you guys have any suggestions on something that could raise her blood-pressure & make her more energetic & less tired; she has problems with motivation to do things which could be related to problems with her executive functioning but not feeling dizzy due to low BP & feeling less tired & more energetic would probably help with doing things some.

Caffeine and Nicotine are stimulants but Nicotine is very addictive so steer clear.

It raises blood pressure but it causes anxiety.
