If you were to break down your mental state into discrete illnesses what do you suffer from?

The reason for the question is to see how AS manifests outside of the conflation provided by the continuum. A typical Asperger's case might present with Misophonia OCD Social Anxiety Manic Depression etc. I personally hae misophonia ocd social anxiety depression and was pronounced potentially dyspraxic (I dont believe I am but thats my self perception) for example. That represents almost all the symptoms which taken as a whole seem to recommend AS as the fulfillment of Occam's razor.

Oh and dont forget to mention what form these take for instance my OCD is germ chemical contamination as well as pure O where im obsessed with certain ideas - In fact I have a theory that im not OCD at all but simply Pure O and have become fixated on the idea of germs and chemicals

ASD, gender dysphoria. I had previous diagnoses of schizotypal personality disorder and bipolar disorder NOS, but the latest psyche I saw thinks I don't have them.

appreciate the feedback so far :) but Im not sure that I worded the thread very well. I meant to break your autism down into different conditions. So imagine what you would be diagnosed with if autism didnt exist.

I don't understand your request. You want us to break our autism down into different conditions while imagining what we would be like if autism didn't exist? Very confusing.

No I mean create a psychological profile which deconstructs your autism into various conditions for instance in a world without aspergers an aspie might be diagnosed with ADHD OCD and Dyspraxia. These conditions together equal aspergers however.

Its just asking you to break your autism down into component parts Im not asking you to imagine what youd be like without autism. Im asking you to imagine a system where psychologists didnt create Aspergers or autism. Many people here have already been given many different diagnoses on their way to the AS diagnosis. Eventually a psychologist summarised all these conditions into one succint unifying one.

If I wasn't diagnosed with ASD I suppose a diagnosis that resembled it would be Social Anxiety Disorder. That doesn't explain, however, my need for routine, my stimming, and perhaps my inability to make and maintain friends. I have AvPD which explains my extreme low self esteem and my dislike of social situations. The stimming and sensitivity to light would have to be blamed elsewhere.

In addition to Asperger's, I have been formally diagnosed with OCD (in remission), GAD and depression.

I suspect that I may also be narcissistic and have Borderline Personality Disorder too, since I consistently score very high on online quizzes that screen for those. However, I don't like to self-diagnose so I'm not entirely sure whether or not I really would qualify as having those disorders.

Tourette's
Chronic Migraines
Severe Anxiety
Paranoia
Dyslexia/dyspraxia
IBS
Multiple personalities involved as sentient independent entities
A level of stuttering/stammering and thought disorders involved

The last official diagnosis I got was just Bipolar II. However, this Psychiatrist was stupid.

Usually, I'm always diagnosed with the following:
OCD
Either CPTSD or Borderline Personality Disorder
ADHD
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Bipolar II

If autism didn't exist as a condition but I still had the symptoms?

Intermittent explosive disorder (meltdowns)

Simple partial epilepsy (stimming)

Pure 'O' OCD

ADHD

Some type of hoarding disorder

Avoidant personality disorder

Social anxiety disorder

Dysthymia

Pathological Demand Avoidance syndrome

What I have is autism, ADHD, bipolar with severe symptoms of OCD but not enough symptoms to fit criteria and could pass for dyspraxia. And epilepsy (secondary generalised seizures/ temporal lobe epilepsy). Pretty sure I have PDA or Borderline too.
