Chiara de Blasio is the 19 year old daughter of New York City Mayor elect Bill de Blasio and was seen frequently in ads and in person during her dad's mayoral campaign.

A lot of addicts don't see drug abuse as a problem. What they do find to be a problem is the police harassment of them, the lack of rooms to safely use their drugs, the stigma that goes along with being a drug addict and the frequent unavailability of their drug of choice.

I can see the U.S., perhaps in 10 years, opening safe-use drug rooms where addicts are free to come in and do the drugs of their choice. It's already happening in Europe.

What drug was Chiara doing? She spoke about weed, but here in Washington it's widespread and legal and not frowned down upon.
