Is this a 'transferal' of social anxiety?

Lately I've been getting quite some favourites and retweets of my original 140-character messages, but somehow the more that happens the more dread I feel... perhaps it's because they're mostly random strangers (most people happen to use their real photos on Twitter for some reason, which I obviously don't do).

I mean, somehow I feel that with such social media I could possibly become sufficiently known to possibly participate in politics IRL (Twitter seems almost ideal for campaigns)... but yet again, if I'm anxious when some tweets happen to resonate with some people, what hope do I have in the future for anything else?
