but reading the transcript the "cortisol shrinks your brain" part gets to me..I know that might've been an oversimplification and it's ironic that I do this but still :| ..

being aversive of something because your afraid of an effect it might result in when it is present is not helpful either is it?.

Something interesting:
I've felt stressed for most of my school career.
Now I constantly feel stressed, even though I don't have any kind of obligations...
ADD, forgetfulness, etc.

It may shrink your hippocampus which can lead to memory and learning difficulties in the long run.
