I sometimes have panic attacks, and I take buspar and xanax for it, but my doctor is trying to get me off the xanax, and has given my mom the power to give xanax when needed, and give additional buspar when needed... Whenever I get anxious, I remember traumatic experiences, get dizzy, my eyes start hurting, my eyes start spinning, and I keep looking up..... My mom is often at work, so I often cant contact her right away to get additional xanax, and even then, I can't take that much xanax in one day... And I can only take so much buspar, and even when I take twice the prescribed dose of buspar, AND half a mg of xanax in a day, I still get panic attacks..I'm not going to see my psychiatrist for a while, so what should I do in the mean time?

What triggers them? Are you able to avoid those triggers?

had panic attacks for 6 months, they were hell! This book cured me of them.
Self help for your nerves, by Dr Claire Weeks
It explained why i have them, and how to stop them completely.
It worked absolutely with me.
Don't be put off by the title, its a fairly old book.
You can buy it on Amazon, or anywhere that stocks a good range.
Feel free to PM me if you need to talk about it.

A feeling of being judged... No, I can't avoid it.

Due to the addictive potential, I would try to manage with something else than benzodiazepines.

If I were you, I'd talk to the doctor about rotating different medications. Try to get something other than Xanax to supplement so you can get at least a day off between dosing Xanac. Withdrawal symptoms can be very unpleasant with benzdiazepines if you become physically dependent.
