Has anyone researched this? Apparently one of the targets for 'DBS' is the 'Thalamus', which interestingly, is implicated in Autism Spectrum Disorder's, since it is responsible for, amongst other things, sensory processing and control of motor movement.
My Tourette's Syndrome has plagued me for years now, since I was eight years old. 'DBS' is currently experimental for Tourette's Syndrome, but I'm hoping that some day it'll be available on the 'NHS' in my country - the UK.
