“It’s okay to feel your feelings”—unless feeling your feelings leads to a huge meltdown.

Please, can our society make showing emotion in public acceptable. Not only can you not have a meltdown, but you can’t even show it on your face. Showing your feelings is better than battling them with unhealthy behaviors when you’ve run out of healthy coping mechanisms, pushed yourself as far as you can go, and don’t respect yourself anymore :cry:

I agree, I don't think "can't" is the right word though. I certainly CAN have a meltdown...and it certainly has shown on my face.

Lol I absolutely hate those canned phrases, especially in the supermarkets: "are you okay?" Lol. Just be there when I need you, and don't bother me when I don't. I've been to a store before, I know how it works.
