I fell alone when I go to my shrink I get triggered they treat others with ASD and the shades are all pulled and it’s dark I feel like I am suffocating in there if the shrink takes to long I have anxiety attacks

Have you ever asked your "shrink" to simply turn up the lights before you arrive because of your noctophobia?

No, it's that accursed Day Star that burns and causes wrinkles and skin cancer that gets me triggered. Not to mention the people who pressure me to go out and get some fresh air and exercise when it's sunny.

I was wanting to talk to other people who had the same issue. instead I got....bitching and solutions that do not work in my situation.

You come to this website with your "darkness anxiety" (a.k.a., noctophobia), without specifying that you want only to talk to other noctophobes, and even without specifying that you do not want solutions. Then you attack people who, in good faith, replied with potentially helpful advice.

You asked in your subject if anyone else got triggered by that. You did not specify in your subject or thread that you only wanted to hear from others who also experienced it & you also did not specify that you did not want to hear potential solutions.
