The evidence does
not show than being trans is inherently the cause of the suicides, or that the GD surgeries don't help. If I were to compare quality of life (QoL) amongst cancer survivors to a healthy control group (with no comparison made to current cancer sufferers) and found that the QoL for cancer survivors was lower, would that be evidence that cancer treatments don't help?
