Several-

1. Homosexuals are one of the primary vectors of HIV. Now, if it stayed contained within that population, some sort of tolerance would be possible albeit distasteful. But, you have bisexuals who bridge the gap and spread the disease to normal people. With IV drug users, the disease tends to stay relatively contained within that population because well... who wants to have sex with a junkie? The other main problem group is the blacks, race-mixers being the ones to pick up the disease and spread it to the white straight majority population.

2. Correlation with pedophilia, mental illness, etc.

3. Cultural degeneracy. Homosexuals perceive and proclaim themselves as "special" (a result from narcissism) and relentlessly fight for special privileges and recognition based on a biological defect, thus perpetuating the American culture of narcissism. End result is a society where everyone is obsessed with their own gain in social status rather than working to advance society.

So the problem isn't so much homosexuality in itself, but rather everything else that tends to be associated with it. So, the proper course of action of any healthy society would be combating homosexuality in its population, whether through therapy, forced isolation, deportation, or other measures.

Btw, I'm an Atheist, not a Christian. There are plenty of non-biblical reasons to oppose homosexuality.

What Is Wrong With It? (#2)

Only the bug-butt-ugliest gay men ever hit on me. If it were Rick Martin or a look-alike, then I might admit to being flattered before telling him that I'm straight. But why does it always have to be some guy who looks like a half-dead heroin addict or a grounded Goodyear blimp with legs?

Now, if Angelina Jolie were to smile my way, you'd see a man melt like butter on a hot day ...

"that's bigoted" doesn't defeat an argument. Try again. Try to focus on the actual points/claims too.

Why? Because he has a different opinion? It's not like homosexuals actually create an equivalent environment to that of hetero's when it comes to nurturing children.

Sooooo many things I could reply to here, so I'll just pick one:

First of all homosexuality is not a "biological defect." It is simply a personal preference of where you enjoy putting your **** in the privacy of your own home. It's a simple matter of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and really isn't anyone else's business but your own.

Second before you accuse anyone of "cultural degeneracy" I assume you like watching TV, going to the movies, wearing clothes, reading books, living in a nice house in a safe country, and so forth? Gays and lesbians are movie stars, doctors, lawyers, firefighters, singers, construction workers, teachers, writers, politicians, soldiers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers; all working hard to "advance society" just like everybody else.

Finally of course homosexuals are "special" because everybody is special. At least that's what Mr. Rogers told me growing up. If it's not true then I don't want to know. :)

I'm not going to waste any more time with you because you actually believe you've raised valid points when in fact, you're just displaying the same tired old bigotry.

@Azagthoth: No; different opinions are welcome but misinformed bigotry is not. It's really that simple.

That's a lie, and it's also an avoidant remark such that it precludes interpersonal criticism. Very few people are exceptional. Otherwise, being special obviously means nothing >__>

Defiler is just pointing out how homosexuals are in no way special. In fact, they should just keep to themselves. The fact that it's part of a political platform is ridiculous.

Is parenthood the sole litmus test for being a valued member of society?

Personally, I have nothing against gays as individuals. One of my favorite recording artists, Darby Crash of the Germs, was gay. Gayness itself is not the problem.....the attitude and agenda of the "gay rights" movement is. To be blunt, it's fuled by nothing more then, in Nietzschean terms, slave morality and ressentiment.

You are now bloating the former message and taking things in a totally different direction.

Hi!

I don't really care much about most things. But I enjoy reading a lot of science, and one of you said something about homosexuality not being a biological deviation. I just wanted to add that I read something (about a month or so) that said homosexuality was linked to genes, and affected brain developement. Well, you can read it here:

The "gay rights" movement is also authoritarian in intent, seeking to impose their views on others through the force of the state.

Yes, no one can say it is not biological, when we have not proven such a position. It was a rather nescient statement.
