I'm FTM with legal name and gender change several years ago. Most people don't know I'm trans and I'd like to keep it that way. However my diagnosis was done when I was a kid and all the paperwork uses my birth name and female pronouns. If I want to use the papers to go after any services or anything like that, I have to bring a copy of the court decree (because ALL of my documentation has been changed, down to the birth certificate, so that's the only way to prove I'm the same person). I want to just go and get another diagnosis with the right information but I'm unsure how to go about that as I obviously didn't set up the original tests.
