Yes I hate this whole "male lesbian" and "guydyke" thing.

You're a little feminine and like women? So f*cking what? You're a dude though, and feminine? So f*cking what?
Lesbian means WOMAN sexually attracted to WOMEN.

You identify as a man, therefore you are straight.

As above said, if you are trans, that is a different issue, but if you identify as a male, the sex you were born as, you are straight if you are into women.

Why do these men think it's OK to just call themselves lesbians? GRRRR :wall:

Okay, my original response to this wasn't really a relevant one, so I'm starting over.

I think people who call themselves "guydykes" and "girlfags" are not the same as a man calling himself a lesbian. That makes no logical sense, and is probably expressed in sarcasm. To be a "guydyke" just means you happen to be attracted to women who appear to be tomboyish or androgynous. That doesn't really affect your sexual orientation. The phrase "I'm a lesbian in a man's body" is usually said in jest, and the only way it can be a proper statement is if you don't identify with your biological sex.

I get trolled by men all the time both IRL and online trying to force me to have sex with them since "they are lesbians also" - NO definition of lesbian = only female identified persons may be involved, period!

the term "male lesbian" has nothing whatsoever to do with trans* womyn, if you are female you are female - then as female if you are attracted to other females exclusively you are a lesbian. In this case you are female and lesbian.

"male lesbian" is for trolls trying to invade our space and "mansplain" to us that it is ok, they belong with us since they are one of us. To which I say "shove it up your....."

My roommates boyfriend calls himself a male lesbian all the time and it drives me crazy! He is clearly a straight man who thinks he is being clever. As an actual lesbian I find his tone and meaning offensive. If he would just stop saying words I might be ok with him but he is so obnoxious I am actually moving out next month. I have no problem with someone calling themselves a guydyke or a male lesbian if they are actually describing affection and love as opposed to being an aggressive creep!

I am a male lesbian, of I think I am.

Why I think this.
I tend to only fall head over heals for girls who have very lesbian characteristics.
Short hair kind of boyish looks, tomboyish attitudes. Ext.

I am a man. I was born a man and I identify as a man. I am only attracted to women.
I don’t get turned on by lesbian porn, I do not wish I was a girl by any means.

I only have been in 2 relationships where I actually felt I was in love. Both partners came out as lesbians. (One is still a good friend of mine and is getting married soon)

I know this discription sounds weak, but the living this way is very hard. I am alone and have been for a long time. I am certain that any woman I feel so connected too and in love with will never be able to feel the same way for me as they are not straight. I never felt a majic spark with any woman that is straight.

I have been lucky enough to get to kiss a woman I was very into (a lesbian) a few times. When our lips pressed every thing just went pitch black. Time no longer existed and us 2 where the only thing that existed. It was a feeling I may never experience again.
