queer youth group? i know it's a bit odd to suggest this on a site for aspies/auties but i go and i like it. the people there are different from other people, theyre easier to get a long with and there isnt the same presure to be normal or socialise properly but that might just be unique to mine. plus the types of activities that go on there are variable so you can take your pick and, yeah, go to whatever you want.

I totally get that. I just moved to Ecuador and it´s really hard to be gay here. Almost everyone is in the closet. If I get one more proposal from a married man... But it´s nice to be able to be on WP and talk about it. :)

Recommended. I was struggling when I was at (and left) University, but a local LGBT youth group was a big help. For a start, I met a lot of people who weren't all about pubs and clubs. It got me into my first (brief) relationship, which in turn gave me the confidence to know I could do it again. Some youth groups are bad, but some are good - try out several.

You can add me to the list of potential, virtual friends.

From a practical perspective, it might be useful to know a little more about where you live--not the specific location, but the advice that I would give to a person in Small Town USA might be very, very different from the advice that I would give to someone in a big city in Russia.

I'd be happy to talk/chat with you plenty, if you'd like. It's something I'm very used to doing. And I've gone through pretty much this same thing myself, so I have a good understanding of what you're going through.

Go ahead and PM me if I can be of any help. I'm friendly and wont bite
