Yes, in fact I'd prefer to date transgender people, and I'm mtf transgender myself, but it hasn't gone well for me.

A previous person commented that trans-people tend to be very binary, and I'd concur with that.

I'm very androgynous, and I've yet to meet another mtf that was as anywhere near as comfortable with their male aspects as I am. They seem to be upset that I am attracted to both their masculine and feminine attributes.

My policy is, if I got it, and I can't change it without making it worse, might as well make the best of it :D It's not like I could act male or female, anyways.

I would as long as they'd completed the transition. I don't like vaginas.

Oh, and the impression I'm getting is that my broad swimmer's shoulders, large hands, masculine 2D:4D finger ratio and large-ish brow ridge means that I'd set off Fnord's mandar.

Considering the transition involves what amounts to a stitched on dildo-equivalent, there's not much difference between that and a woman with a strap-on.

There's the fact that the "stitched-on-dildo equivalent" can feel pleasure. And the fact that the trans man who has completed a transition has a male body, which I like, with no female genitals.

Just because it looks sorta male through surgery and drug therapy, doesn't mean it's really a male body.

But then, I don't see dyed hair or any other fake augmentation as being real either, so that's my frame of reference. Even a 1 for 1 perfect copy thousands of years in the future would still be fake to me. I guess I'm a gem snob.

If it's male shaped with male genitals, that's good enough for me.

No. The makeability of life, gender here, is a consumerist model.

The myth of progress is a religious theory from the ubiquitous anthropocentrist narrows.

I actually prefer transsexual women who have retained their original equipment.

To be honest, what does it matter? The wrapper never lives up to the contents. Be you.

One of my longest relationships was with someone who is transgendered. I'm pansexual, gender doesn't really play a big role in whether or not I'm attracted to someone.

If we were mutually attracted to one another and shared some chemistry and common intetests then I would date anyone.

It's all about a spiritual connection and those things the human species doesn't have words for, for me.

I'll date someone who has dealt with their bs, and isn't running from something.
You can see this in their confidence.

That is if I we're interested in dating anyone.

But if there is that cosmic spark, and their eyes don't glaze over when I talk about deep philosophical things.
We might have a keeper.

If they love meaningless chit chat, and are fueled by group activities, worship the media and it's royalty, are an active fan of imperial bread & circus, or a believer in one of the anchor religions of a 6000+ year old empire that is confining human consciousness. I probably won't even say hi.

If you take that game in Wasington DC seriously, I probably won't even say hi.

I am very selective about who I bring into my life.
I keep my circle of friends small and close.
I am no social butterfly.

And I have serious issues against men, serious ones, I f-ing hate them. Doesn't matter who they like to sleep with, I just hate them, sick of 'em, bored to tears, disgusted, traumatized by decades of abuse. It will be quite a while before I let one even touch me.

Women, on the other hand have always been my safe shelter. They are the ones I bond with, they do stuff I find fun, they actually care about others, unlike men who seem to only want to dominate and be #1.

I may be feminine, but I am nobody's b***.

yeah, dating is a bad idea for me, I have issues.

I plan on just sticking with other MTF trans. I can identify with them better than anyone else.

As a transsexual, I can say that if you plain on dating one of us.
Be gentile, we have a LOT of stuff to work through.
At lest for me, it has been a very long and hard road to get where I am. I have a lot of stuff to sort out.
I don't trust very many people at all. And all I really want is someone to understand me. Someone who actually does listen, with their heart.

I'm still very early in this, I just came out last week, so maybe dating isn't even I subject I should even be pondering.

But I wanted to just give a snapshot of what's going on inside the head of one transsexual.
