Was anyone into or still into Matchbox 20? I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately. What I like about them is Rob Thomas has a really good voice, and his lyrics have meaning, but the songs are also upbeat in rhythm. I especially like "Disease."

Matchbox 20 is a great group! My favourite song of theirs is "Unwell". It speaks to me on such a personal level that I cry when I listen to it sometimes. I also like "If You're Gone" and "Push". The former reminds me of the season of autumn for some reason, and I like listening to the latter when I'm angry.

I've heard of "Unwell" "Bent" and I think it's called "Let's See How far we've gone" (the world is burning to the ground oh well i guess the world is gonna find out Let's see how far we've gone, let's see how far we've gone. The lyrics are something like that).

This is Rob Thomas and Daryl Hall (of Hall and Oates) doing the Matchbox 20 song "3 am."

Seeing musical pairings like this is heaven on earth lol.

Matchbox 20 is my go-to for a bad day. I have all the albums, and the solo RT stuff. There's just something about his voice that reaches me.

Rob Thomas is one of the best pure artists of the 90's. Matchbox 20 was and is great, and I remember Thomas pairing up with Carlos Santana for "Smooth" which broke chart records if I'm not mistaken.

For me, Matchbox 20 is one of those bands that's very strongly tied to a past relationship and what seems like a past life.

They have a very strong late 90s sound, but I associate them with early 2000s because that's when I discovered them.

They are one of my favorite bands!! !! I own their first CD Yourself & something like you. Such a great album!! ! My all time favorite song is Busted!
If you need any song ideas look up The Break And Repair Method and The New Left. Paul Doucette the old drummer now the backing guitarist/back vocalist plays in The break and repair method. Kyle Cook the Guitarist/backing vocalist is in The New left. They are very hard to find on youtube especially The New left. But if you do find them I highly suggest to listen to them!
