the beatles is my thing...i'm a huge beatles fan. but there's generally way too many good bands for just a top 10....i pretty much just listed what came to mind. i left off nofx, husker du, eels, the rentals, weezer, weapon of choice, outkast, black star, nwa, the roots, blue meanies, dwarves, royksopp, mu330, kid dynamite, spoon, against me, pavement, minutemen, mike watt's solo stuff, jets to brazil, jawbreaker, oingo boingo......well...there's a lot.

you seem to like a lot of metal....might i suggest you check out hank williams III's metal stuff....normally the band is called assjack....there's metal stuff on bootleg #3...you can hear both the country and metal stuff here....

http://www.myspace.com/hankthree

if you're a real fan of metal, you'll like the attitude in the country songs and will be banging your head to the metal.
