Messa is an Italian 4-piece band born in 2014.

Dark, evocative and doom-like songs with delicious female vocals, influenced by Pentagram, Bellwitch, Windhand, Jex Thoth, Sabbath Assembly, Bathory, The Blood Pyramid.
They deliver a heavy, occult, very experimental sound, even with Ambient episodes, that will guide you through a scarlet velvet journey.
The debut album entitled "Belfry" was released via Aural Music in 2016.
“A steeple darkening your mind, calling you to come….
leaving scarlet velvet behind you."

The second full length "Feast for Water" was released via Aural Music in 2018 and has a strong Dark/Jazz imprint.

While on March 11, 2022 for Svart Records their third studio album, "Close".

Most of the songs I've listened to for years are dark and depressing, so I need to explore the realm of happy songs. Strange.
