I'm not too far in yet, I think I'm going to go back and write down all the locations in the story and look them up on maps, because that's always interested me.
Surely someone has done that already? But I guess it wouldn't take that long to do myself.

Too bad it takes place in 1990, I'm sure a lot of the maps have changed since then. Otherwise something like Google Street View would be awesome.

Anthology of older, perhaps lesser known horror stories, some by literary masters, some by authors whose names have not lasted the test of time.

An excellent book! Like many people here on Wrong Planet, I wish Warner Brothers would hurry up
and allow Steve Kloves to make the movie, but it wouldn't surprise me if the movie goes straight to HBO Max.

Yes.

I know this will come off as crazy, but I met Brad Pitt (who will be a producer of the adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime) one day when he was in Portland. He was promoting Moneyball at a free advanced screening and after the movie finished, we briefly had a conversation and I asked him what was taking so long about him and Steve Kloves making the movie.

He said to me back, "Everyone involved is too busy with other projects, including Kloves."

I said to him back, "If Steve Kloves doesn't direct, just get David Fincher or George Clooney to direct."

Meeting Brad Pitt sounds exciting. He has been in some good movies.

I suppose some projects just get delayed, sometimes indefinitely. :|
