I spent the last week imploding.

Thanks Peet, you made my week with that response.
The first is just awesome, the second just a tad too polished.
Only yesterday I was thinking ABBA would be eminently thrashable.
Easy to butcher whilst retaining its immediate identifiability.
I mashed up Waterloo in my head and it was SO easy to modify.
Does Bollnäs translate to Ball-nose? Strange name for a town.


Today I was listening to Psychedelic Porn Crumpets out of Perth.
They almost got rejected for pace variability, but its obvious they qualify some of the time.
They have a lot of material published, but the energy is all in this last album.

Crash Test Octopus have a lopeable beat. (Lopeable ought to be a word... A beat suitable for sustaining a loping gait... A smidgin faster than juggernaut)

It makes me glad to hear that I could help you. Sometimes it's the small things that does it. I get that.

Regarding the music, I agree with you. The first it's kinda funny. Each band on their own play way different kind of music. That song is like a mashup of the two bands. The second I agree with you, that is from the more recent days. They did a great thing during covid thou. They got a gig cancelled because of covid restrictions. So they got a lorry and opened up the side and drove around Gothenburg, very slow, playing the gig.

Ball-nose would be Bollnäsa, so very close. Näs, is isthmus and Boll is refering to and ancient word - bald. Which meaning is great. The great isthmus is meaning of the name.

Harold Holt Search Party don't have much published, hence the crappy audio on the second track.
(When I lived in Glen Iris [Melbourne] I was always struck by the fact the local swimming pool was the "Harold Holt Memorial Pool" when Harold Holt was presumed drowned at sea.)
