December issue of Rolling Stone came yesterday... they listed the top 100 albums of the decade. Kid A took the top spot... I have trouble arguing with that.
In terms of its impact, what it stood for, and its place within Radiohead's career, I also agree. In fact it contains my all-time favourite Radiohead song (How To Disappear Completely). However, on the most part, what they were going for musically has in my opinion been done much better by much lesser known artists. 'Everything In Its Right Place' for example is rated far beyond its musical merits. That said, it has an amazing mood, is a well thought out entity and I have no problem with it being at No. 1 either.
