Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one...especially when girls at school start singing "Party In The USA" *Gag*.

You can add the celebrity fanatics in general to this.

Back in my day, Hilary Duff and Raven-Symone were our teen icons. As for Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, I really don't have much of an opinion toward them. I neither like them nor dislike them. I've gotten to the point where I've outgrown anything Disney Channel churns out.

yeah, i remember that one, although that started during my.... jr or sr year of HS....

during 6-10th grade for me, i really wouldnt remember, and that was from like 1999 - 2004 or something like that. Im def thinking amanda bynes (yeah, I will admit i had a crush on her, and I still think she is cute.) Yeah, i miss the good old days of nickelodeon, especially shows like keenan and kel and all that.

I promise you that you will get to laugh later...because in four years not one of those people will want to admit that they liked any of those things. Kind of like my era and the Backstreet Boys.

Yeah, I remember them, N-sync, and early linkin park and limp bizkit. Used to be a huge 3 doors down fan.

The girls in my area kinda went crazy for hanson as well.

Taylor Swift is extremely gorgeous, but on a serious note I respect her because she actually contributes to her own music. But I don't like her music, it's typical modern-style "poser-country/pop-country crap". And she dated a Jonas Brother, so I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole and if given the chance with her I'd probably have e-disfunctions (you know, when you "have a problem")

As much as I hate Miley Cyrus, unlike my usual Jonas-trashathons I don't really have any insults for her at the moment, haven't spent time coming up with any yet.

For me to dislike any of the people mentioned in this thread, I would have to know who they are first.

It is possible to live in complete ignorance of teeny pop culture! All it takes is to ignore it.

I agree, Miley Cyrus makes me want to throw up on any fan of Hannah Montana.

Jonas Brothers suck severe ass.

But as for Taylor Swift, hell YES! "You Belong to Me" is very catchy.

Taylor Swift I don't mind. Can't stand Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers, though.

The Miley/Hannah chimera is just to nasally a voice to tolerate for me, she grates on my nerves.
