I had the pleasure to be involved in the preparation of an event where Silvana Deluigi was the highlight back in my Tango Argentino days, - what a diva,
, but ... once she gets on the stage you forgive her everything.
BTW Tango Argentino is heart-achingly beautiful music and a brilliant dance all about attraction and rejection and bottomless pain - ideal for an Aspie,
, also the the very old fashioned set of etiquette enabled me to partake in something as physical as dancing with a person I never met before and actually enjoy it. It was pleasing, there often was only the invitation to dance ( sometimes even just expressed by a bow or a hand gesture and smile and then you just completely embraced the music, knowing perfectly well, that this was what it was all about, interpreting the music as well as possible. No emotional strings attached, but proficiency and passion could lead to more than one set of dances.
Set rules, how I love them, lol.
