Thank you!! ! I really wish that I had access to something better than a webcam. Not to brag, but those pictures really don't do those drawings justice. Everyone at my art school thinks I'm "too illustrative," that I need stop "telling a story," that I'm too "traditional," and they basically seem to be very bored with my work. I'm under the impression that this is because I do not smear my menstrual blood across the wall in the shape of a penis and tell them that it is significant because of this reason and that reason.

 art school is BS in my opinion.

 nice stuff man, continue the great work! :D

nice stuff everyone!

Wacom. My world of warcraft character. ;)

Scizzwigs, HAL! How do you get the perception so perfect?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by perception, so I might be going in the wrong direction here. The bottom two are done in one point perspective, so receding all go to one vanishing point, while there is no foreshortening on anything vertical or horizontal to the viewer. There's lots of information on drawing perspective on the internet, if you want to know more.

Is that what you meant?

maybe i meant depth...i'm not sure which word is best.
is that like...the effect you get when drawing with one eye closed? they look very good.

Eirun!! Another thing I found in common with you to share :)
I have also made acylic paintings in my past. Nowadays I mostly do computer art. Never heard about "wacom". What is that and how does it work?

I use wacom for computer art. Found a random picture Here. Its like a tablet you can use to draw on, with a "pen". Easier then with a mouse. :) I have a volito 2. But there is also bamboo that people recomend.

oh yeah! somebody else on WP had such one, I also want one!! Im absolutely sure its worth it. Now I draw by hand and simply scan it into the computer. Its very unpractical, in particular if you want to use the work together with other digital art....um....I think I only have to dream about getting such a thing. I have already bought very expensive computerprograms and special computerglasses. Now its my husbands turn to get himself a new pair of glasses and a new printer.....is such stuff expensive?

Btw, I posted a photo of a cat in your thread about special interests

Hehe, yeah I saw. :D
It depends how good you want it. The one I have wasnt expensive at all, and its rather good. Its a bit small, and not widescreen, so its not completely accurate. Think I payed like 500sek, wich is like 70 USD.
But you can combine scanned and digital though. You can always refine your work in photoshop or gimp etc, make outlines clearer, or color things etc. My dream is to get a set of promarkers and paint by hand again. Then scan it and fix in ps if needed. ^^

Have you posted any of your work?

Righty right. So I guess if I pay the double price then I might get a widescreen one then....I guess I can have afford it after a while...I just got Adobe Illustrator and other similuar programs but I think your solution is better for someone who has done "classic art by hand" before. I interpret computer programs like that is more meant for those who cant do it by hand at all. I found it very frustrating to drag in the slightest change I wanted to do with the mouse rather than do it by hand....

And I have already tried the combined version. The logotype and design for my previous YouTube channel was all made first by hand and then refined in Photoshop. That was H**l lot of work!! Extremely timeconsuming. So I would be happy to find a faster and easier solution because Im dead slow when working :?

Well I have been very bad in posting my work in this thread. I posted only one very simple fast made drawing once, nothing special to see really. My paintings have been on exhibitions and already "published". Due to my privacy I wont show them again somewhere else. Because of this I have almost nothing I can actually show here...
