It's the music to a computer game. She is playing it very well.

I'm quite pleased with this, and none of my friends give a damn about my music

Not my style I listen to remotely, but this is the kind of electronic music I can really respect. Great composition skills!

I like it. It reminds me of some of my favorite music by Alan Parsons, in the album "I Robot". Fitting too, as you title it "Logical Mystic". :) Logic is the topic in my blog I use per Algorithm, with "I Robot" music to illustrate it.

it is like a sound painting rather than a song. it does not really travel through multiple chordal developments, but rather it explores the marriage of sounds on a linear and non divergent scale. that is my dullard perception. i could not really listen to all of it because there were no surprises.

I accept constructive criticism. If it is related to the audio quality, I am looking into an audio interface.

Thank you. Yes, I think it is rather 'prog' in that vein, kinda old fashioned in a way.

That is a good description, thank you

Maybe I'll attempt something with more changes next. My version of Giant Steps or something

I think it would benefit a lot from a different recording arrangement...

I hear some nice bass tones in there.

You're obviously a very talented pianist. I quite like the recording as well, it almost sounds like it's coming from a digital gramophone.

I'm a bit confused b9, which part is you? Is it the Piano?

I believe I hear the original vocal and drums, I recognise those drums particularly, a popular drum break sample :D

My recording situation sucks right now. I have mediocre music equipment and can only record using a video camera right now, because my soundcard makes Audacity recording a mess. I try to compensate with good playing, but...that will only get you so far.

That's the second b9 song that was simply a recording of something else... where's your special b9 influence that makes this "yours"? I want to support my fellow musicians...
...must be the piano somehow... it's the only thing that is noticeable during the fadeout...?

"back tracks"... that must mean the piano... seems to fit so well (or so quietly?) you'd think it was the original recording. Better live playing than me, that's for sure!

Thank you Moog. Out of curiosity did you listen on a desktop or portable device?

Or if you have the technical expertise could you explain to me why it would be so distorted on portable devices but not distorted on home computers at low volume.

People have told me it sounds like some type of uncomfortable sounding "oriental" music on portable devices, if they can hear it at all. If that is where you heard it, I did not consider the gramophone analogy. That is an interesting thought in appreciating what some might find very uncomfortable to listen to.

I have to wonder when I listen to the distorted version if my mind is not filling in the "holes" because I already know what the "full version" sounds like so well.
