I don't know too many other Vaughan Williams pieces

Wowow! That was absolutely gorgeous, by the way! Thank you so, so, so very much! I have another piece to add to my list! Too bad there were voice overs D:... [And I didn't watch the video until I realized that there were voices :O!]

Anywhom, try these:

It's probably my second favourite of his :]. Short, sweet, and perfect.

It's said that when Rachmaninoff was at Ralph Vaughan Williams' concert listening to this piece, he broke into tears :O.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful...

This song always makes me cry. I cried more during 0.55 min. My dad was a Persian Gulf War Veteran.

I usually get emotions from the music rather than the lyrics. That's why they're mostly instrumental.

Awesome, nostalgic, and beautiful piano work from Richard D. James

I can't describe the feeling this gives me but it's a feeling of maturity and happiness; being able to savor the good things in life.

Saved the best for last. This is the most emotional and tear-jerking song I've ever heard, if only for the sheer overwhelming emotion the music gives you.

"The Wanderer" by Johnny Cash

I find it "Katbatic" - Sad and melancholic, but encouraging compassion.

Faithless is good for it occasionally as well. Max definitely rolls deep.

"Down There By The Train" by Tom Waits

Don't know why but the line that always gets me is:

There's no eye for an eye, there's no tooth for a tooth /
I saw Judas Iscariot carrying John Wilkes Booth.

I guess the thing I like about the song is the sense of forgiveness for whomever you are.
