Just in the mood this morning to pick up a pencil and a pad and do a life drawing. That is the first time I did one of those for over 30 years.
I live drawing of all things removed! I don't believe it.

Life drawings are just usually pencilled or crayoned nudes usually drawn from life and I have never had an issue of censorship with them in the past. In my country you are introduced to them at art school from word go. The only issues I have is when they are drawn badly and the proportions look all wrong, which quite often happens in the course of good art training. It takes a great deal of practice to get it right. No student in my school ever read anything sexual into them whatsoever, instead they often viewed it as the most challenging test for their sketching skills an nothing more, because I personally found them to be the most difficult thing to draw. So for that reason it is important to sought out those were up to the challenge and those that were not. Even back in the 1970's they were perfect acceptable. Are we regressing back into the 19th century or something

I've been taking photos of posters that are weathering away on telephone poles here in Portland for a few years. This is one of them.
