Yes, as my music is atypical for any age!

I used to obsessively collect recordings of requiem masses and Anglican and Lutheran funeral music. I have over a hundred recordings spanning a period of almost a thousand years.

I also collected Lenten hymns, such as the Stabat Mater Dolorosa, and the Pange Lingua. I also collect some non Lenten hymns including the Magnificat, Salve Regina and the Regina Coeli Gloriosi, all hymns to Mary, mother of Jesus.

I also collected the Passion and Seven Last Words of Jesus from the cross.

And finally I collected the Tenebrae Lessons for Holy Week and some cantatas and oratorios for Easter.

I also like some 1960s and 1970s Bossa Nova jazz by Stan Getz on Saxaphone, Laurendo Almeida on guitar and Carllos Jobim and Astrud Gilberto doing voice.

I can listen to playlists of my music or a single piece over and over again for up to 24 hours.

Much of my music is an acquired taste but some of it is so compelling that anyone can find a way to enjoy it.

Most of my music helps relax me when I'm tired or heading for a meltdown.

If any one would to talk about my music or listen to some of it I'll be glad to oblige.

i couldn't listen to anything but 50's and 60's music from ages 6 through 10.

yeah, kind of, but with my family it's the music i grew up with, stuff like The Eagles, Styx, Dave Matthew's Band, Billy Joel, Elton John, artists like that.

then i listen to a lot of classical and ethnic music
