Hello.
I want to improve my drawing skills and will buy drawing materials.
I already have some pencils of different hardness.
Do you have any ideas of good materials? :)

I keep a container of wet ones and paper towels next to me when I draw. I like to use my finger for smudging/shading. A bad habit maybe, but it makes me happy.

Also, I use an extra clean sheet of paper to rest my hand on so I won't smudge the rest of the drawing with my hand. I try to be mindful that I don't press hard and scoot the extra piece of clean paper across my drawing.

I like to practice drawing figures from my favorite paintings. However, they are not always anatomically proportioned correctly (as you may already know). It's fun anyway! But I agree, it's best to study the proper anatomy and muscle structure first.
