Wrongplanet's got talent.
Well, I write a mean limerick...
There once was a man named Suzette
Who never felt shame or regret
He'd get in big messes
In red dress and tresses...
How low can a woman-man get?
Never mind.
I do a bit of the Weird Al thing, y'know, changing songs to suit my whims... but only for fun, never to record or anything. I wrote "She's Always a Wombat to Me" years ago for my sister...
"And the most she will do is throw kumquats at you
But she's always a wombat to me!"
I realize kumquats have nothing to do with wombats. I just like the name. I also created my own version of "Down By the Station" because I never could seem to find a kid's Halloween song. I've found many since, but I'm rather proud of this one.
"Down by the graveyard, early in the morning
See the little coffins open all in a row
As the vampire bats fly out to get some munchin'
Flap! Flap! Squeak! Squeak!
Off they go!"
It has occurred to me that it might be a tad dark.
But my main things are writing, which is the one for which my talent is most in question, and painting and drawing... though the talent there is the knack I have for making things. If it's a craft, I can generally pick it up... sewing, sculpting, painting, embroidery, etc. Except for knitting and crocheting, which make me go night-night. It's a bad thing to fall asleep while knitting, very bad. Much swearing may be involved when you wake up, assuming you don't somehow impale yourself, that is.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Taupey, that's really funny about renting a flute. My sisters used to copy me by learning the same songs as I had on the piano and it used to bug me so much. Then when my sister had to pick a second instrument in high school she picked the flute.
Superboyian, I'd go for Canadian Idol but I don't really have a pop voice. I like to sing showtunes. The artist I'd most like to be like is Sarah Brightman.
