"My favourite parks are car parks. Grass is something you smoke, birds are something you shag. Take your Year in Provence and shove it - up - your - arse!"

The year is still young.
I also like books and reading, and although I mostly like to read books based on my interests,I also like to read all kinds of other stuff.
Anyway I'll agree than Gutenberg is a real godsend as I've finally at long last been able to read many classic books that I've always wanted to read, but never got round to seeking out in the bookshops (I have a good income, but it does have it's limits)
After reading the OP, I saw that he/she (I'm yet to look at this users profile) had read the 'Tarzan' books, well thanks to Gutenberg I've lately been reading them and (sorry to go a bit off topic here) I've come to the conclusion that 'Tarzan' (as portrayed by E.R.B.) would nowadays be diagnosed with AS, as even among his tribe of Apes (that were supposedly "unknown to science" back in 1915 if 'Tarzan of the Apes' is to be believed) was something of a misfit.
Also in many ways I'm a lot like the Lord of Graystoke (although I don't go round in a loincloth or hunt lions with my fathers hunting knife) as I often see the world in very much the same way he does (in the books, not the movies, although that said I do look a lot like Jonny Weissmuller) and can often identify with him very strongly.
I've just finished 'Tarzan of the Apes' and I'm now on 'The Return of Tarzan' after I've gone though all the Tarzan tales I'm planning to start the other stuff that E.R.B. did, most likely I'll start the saga of John Carter, as I love a bit of retro SF.
