These are the most attractive famous musicians I've seen in person, not in any particular order.

Image
Laura Marling. I remember when she was 17 and looked really thin and boyish. She's since put a bit more meat on her bones and looks much more womanly. Was shocked at the transformation the second time I saw her. Plus she makes really good music.

Julia Stone.

Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes.

Lily Allen.

Are we talking "sexist" or "sexy?" I'm assuming "sexy."

There will never be another Madonna. She's nowhere near the hottest out there and never was, but refuses to quit, and her music is amazing and I will be always be a diehard fan. The older she gets and the more she defies society's BS notion that women are supposed to not be sexual when they reach a certain age, the more I like her even if I don't still find her physically attractive. I can't wait to see what she puts out next.

So Madonna is in a category on her own. For more contemporary artists, I always thought Michelle Branch was striking. Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls is probably my current favorite.

Lady Gaga did copy Madonna, but she's still very talented. Not that pretty, but I like her outrageous style.

"Dirrty" by Xtina is the hottest video of all time IMO.

Tastes vary, of course. I like wild girls!

Good girl = Daryl Blonder turn-off

People regard her as sexy as opposed to just really freaking weird? 8O

People regard her as many things none of which she has an affiliation with. Weird can sometimes equate to talent though shes weird in the sense of not being very coherent. On the contrary shes a great marketer and through that puts on a facade that shes this renaissance women with a multitude of other talents. Truth is much of what she has done has been accomplished by previous artists such as Queen, David Bowie, New York Dolls, T-Rex, Grace Jones, and Madonna. For Aspies to say she is one of us is doing a disfavor for us, she doesn't express any of the unique characteristics that we hold she in many cases is not daring to be different she is daring to be previously established artists. There is only so much you can do as an eccentric artist until it becomes a cliche.

I really can't stress enough how many similarities she bares to Madonna. And Madonna herself wasn't very original in my opinion either she derived many of her influences from underground theater of the sixties counter-culture generation. Such as Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Rocky Horror Picture Show and then some of the showmanship of Queen, Michael Jackson, and David Bowie. However she doesn't convey this style uniquely she just does what they accomplished in a more risque fashion and brought it to the mainstream. Lady Gaga is an off-shoot of this superficially glamorous type of pop-music that has no substance, whether or not that means it has merit is subjective.

If I were to recall sexy musicians I would choose Grace Slick who was dressing in very flamboyant costumes dating back to her Height Ashbury years in the mid-sixties. The sixties was kind of a renaissance of flamboyant fashions which hadn't been seen since the twenties. As Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Janis Joplin also dressed eccentrically during this period.

Didn't you post the same thing in the Lady Gaga thread? o_O

Annoyingly, this song is no longer on YouTube, so here's (link) the best I could do.
