Nothing to do with grind really but I just love the Sabbath inspire sludgy riffs and demented atmosphere on Autopsy’s Mental Funeral. I think they did it even better than early Obituary which is saying something.
The sample song off their upcoming album is pretty great as well, along with the new MA it’s my most anticipated release in a while.
I’d never heard of the guys being vegetarians though..

I've posted it elsewhere, but this is the best grindcore track (I wouldn't call it a song) I've heard.
At 1 minute 27 it's probably a bit too long though.

hi. just checked out the latest grindcore offering

bit too punky for me somehow... but still great

and i agree that the sludgy sabbathy riffs are just... amazing
anything that has that quality is fine by me. slower and lower = bigger and more sinister
unless your talking super fast... but thats like some kind of musical knife attack frenzy.

mood music.

just not the mood everyone fancies being in lol

I usually agree that grindcore, goregrind, etc. are pretty awful, but there are some really good bands too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! My first thought seeing this thread pop up was, "I've got to tell these guys about Pig Destroyer's album, 'Prowler in the Yard.'" Front to back the album is amazing. It feels like one mass of grind that flows so well.

I guess I like some grindcore. I'm more of a straight death metal person. What I don't like is whatever "Last Days of Humanity" is. I don't know exactly what it is but it's absolutely horrible. Sounds like they replaced guitars with leaking scuba tanks.

But at any rate, I like Carcass, Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, and Pig Destroyer.

OMG I hate it, and metal in general. It's just too heavy

I would like to see one grindcore or whatever it's called song in which the lyrics are other than nonesense.

Most metal songs have every well done lyrics. You just cant understand them.
