How ironic is this? I like Nirvana with the exception of Smells Like Teen Spirit but I think the Miley Cyrus cover is actually quite good. Her voice suits the song rather well, probably because she is not singing out of range. *puts on flame-proof jacket*

I love that one.

I always get the urge to sing 'Pikachu' though.

I'm a big Modest Mouse fan. The instruments are great in this song (love the Dirty Dozen Brass Band) but Isaac Brock's voice kinda ruins it IMO. It almost sounds like he's trying to do a Tom Waits impression but he doesn't have the same depth.

This Al song is too drawn-out, long & not even a song

Burnin' For You by Blue Oyster Cult.

BOC rocks and I proudly own some of their records, but damn. Talk about overplayed crap. Then again, a band's most popular song tends to be their worst, in my experience. I mean, it has to be generic and simple enough to appeal to a ton of people who have no taste in music. That's how things get popular. :D

That's my fav BOC song. Have you seen the movie The Stoned Age? it's like the moviesx theme song. One guy loves it & the other is going on about how it's a p#$$y song because it's a love song that doesn't mention love at all in it

I can't believe that. Hurt is so amazing and closer is just so good.

:?
It has a completely different vibe from the rest of the album, ruining it (in my opinion, and this is only my personal opinion)

I have been a Nails fan since 1989. Believe it. Closer is so overplayed. As for Hurt, even though I can occasion tolerate listening to it, Johnny Cash ruined it for me.

...I wish I knew how to make small text for effect... I don't like 'Never Stop' that much.

How about a whole album: Pink Floyd's The Final Cut. I'm a longstanding Floydian, but in my opinion that album showcases the band's worst aspects (Roger Waters's tuneless multimillionaire armchair socialism) while mostly ignoring its best asset (the musicianship of David Gilmour). There isn't a single song on that album I ever want to hear again.

I'm tempted to sample/remix this as well (see other post in "What you listening to now" thread)

"Night Train to Trinidad" by Robyn Hitchcock. The whole Groovy Decay/Groovy Decoy album is by far his worst, and that song is the worst on the album.
