What do I think?
It's horrible. Nerve-gratingly horrible.
I'm also pretty certain that first video has been AutoTuned - it's very different to the second, where the vocals are nowhere near as tightly controlled and in fact, they sound far more natural than the first.

I thought I was going to dislike that "It's Gonna Be Me" cover, but the choreo wasn't too bad imo.

The Shai cover, however... I'm not blown away. See, that song has a version with instrumental backing, and an a capella version. If you're gonna do the a capella version, you shouldn't throw in a guitar and dancehall-style percussion. You should just ride on vocals alone. These boys should Youtube-search for 'Legaci Shai cover' to see how it's done.

But again, the "It's Gonna Be Me" cover? Not too bad. Let them have their fifteen minutes of fame. Maybe one of the boys will end up breaking through like Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake did. Honestly, NSYNC themselves were never a vocally very impressive group. Their best voice was JC, and JT worked really hard to achieve the level of 'Justified'.

Also, I know who Simon Fuller is but who is Perez Hilton? Did they have an adoptee from Latin America?

Perez Hilton is a Miami Cuban who is well known for the celebrity gossip website, Perez Hilton.Note: Please do not insult Simon Fuller, He is one of the greatest music managers who ever lived.

Was the video in your first post the first time they had tried singing together? Their attempts at harmonizing sounded more random than anything, and the sound wasn't mixed properly (high pitched voice kid sounded gratingly squeaky in parts, and some of the voices were too much louder than others).
I don't know if I dare listen to the other songs.

Edit: Okay, "It's gotta be me" sounds quite good. Ah, the magic of proper sound mixing and less subtle features than autotune (i.e. heavy production work).

Edit2: The 3rd one's not so bad as the first one musically. However, they clearly need more coordination, e.g. 2:14-2:17, they're all doing different dances pretty much, which kind of sums up their natural state of musical "dis-coordination."

Excuse me, but a music manager is a s**tswimming parasite that is right down there with tapeworms on the level of odiousness. A music manager tells a band what to play, how to play, where to play, and takes the greater share of a band's money only to leave the band broke in the process. Some bigger names that this has happened to are Black Sabbath and The Grateful Dead, and The Sex Pistols.

Blasphemy!! !! How dare you talk about Simon Fuller like that. He made one of my favorite pop bands, which is S Club 7. He is also working with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony on an excellent talent show Q'Viva.

I'd play the videos, but I don't want to have to change my post in "The Most Traumatizing Thing You've Ever Seen"thread in Random Discussions. (<--Link) :P
