Marshall!

I love the night picture!
I have a thing about taking pictures at night I very rarely take pictures in daylight.

Beautiful pics Marshall. I have a preference for the first one, the roots and the sky views

Nice. I've tried to get shots like that but they never quite turn out.

I used bracketing (i.e. taking a bunch of photos in rapid succession at slightly different exposures then picking whichever turns out best) to get that one. Take a lot of photos and eventually you'll get one with the perfect light. I probably only keep one photo for every 10-15 I take. The sky is tricky because it often changes so fast. If you happen to witness an awesome sky you have to get on it immediately or the clouds will move and the light will change.

I also do cheat a little and post-process to enhance the contrast and color. That's the nice thing about digital photography. Taking photos into the light takes a little bit of luck getting just the right exposure.

Wow! I've always wanted to get one of those kinds of shots. I don't own the right kind of lens though.

Marshall, I took it with a fuji Finepix S 2950. Super macro mode. No special lense.

I like the tree and the shadows, Mirror

Thank you. I like those too. The tree especially. I do a lot of conceptual so I know not all my images are as attractive to everyone.

I just hope the first one is not the remains of the second one (which is outstanding by the way)
