Why do not many people here like mainstream music?

I love modern mainstream music because the heavily synthesized sound and the catchy beats/melodies is reminiscent of the Dance music of the early to mid 2000s, which I used to collect and listen to religiously until I had listened to just about every artist. I became very happy when mainstream music became heavily synthesized because it meant that I could finally start collecting more songs again.

I have realy no idea what you mean by mainstream music o,0 I know my tastes are eclectic tho. I like song by song not artist by artist or genre by genre.
