Was about to mention this one. I will admit though, for some reason the original song brings on a flurry of feelings that this one cannot.

Ofcourse! Mr. Tamborine man, by the byrds is rightly famous.

The two worst covers on record of Dylan - two contenders anyway-would be Sebastian Cabot reciting "A Hard Rains Gonna Fall", and William Shatner's version of "Mr. Tamborine Man".

I had a Johnny Cash 45 rpm record (unlistened to because I have no turntable :( ) of "Ring of Fire" and the B-side was "It Ain't Me, Babe" I might still have it around somewhere if anybody wants me to check.

I love Bryan Ferry's version of "A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall". Video sucks, but the music is great.
And of course the greatest cover of all time-Jimi Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower"

I detest the Byrds' version of Mr Tambourine Man. Without the extra verses, it's just a song about a man with a tambourine.

George Harrison's All Things Must Pass album is largely songs written with Dylan, songs imitating Dylan, and songs about Dylan. That's the only one Dylan got the sole writing credit for though.
