They do have some amazing B Sides/non-album tracks.

You're not wrong there. A couple more of my favourite B sides.

I'm too much of a silly person to like Radiohead. I like Can, though.

I really like OK Computer, and Kid A is pretty good, but I don't like their later stuff so much.

Favourite tracks include Anybody Can Play Guitar, How To Disappear Completely, Karma Police, The National Anthem, Bodysnatchers, and of course Paranoid Android and Creep, but my very favourite song is Lucky.

I'm not a huge fan, to be honest. Its mostly because I've never really gotten that in to them, but I've never really heard anything from them I've disliked. My favorite is Idioteque...

And I rather like their cover of New Order's "Ceremony"...

And I do like "Creep" as well.

Still, I sort of have a hard time considering them under-rated, just because its not like they're obscure, and are pretty popular in fact.

Does anyone else like stuff Thom Yorke has composed or sung outside of Radiohead?

Or more recently...

I like a lot of Trip Hop and IDM music. I find the common melancholic aspect of the genre very soothing and peaceful rather than "depressing" like most people do.

Been listening to them quite a lot recently. This song is one I keep returning to.

I do. Atoms for Peace are good. Here's my favorite:

But anyway, after listening to them for a short while, I returned to Radiohead. Atoms are somewhat too energetic (compared to Radiohead) because of Flea's bass ; I know he's good, but I'm not an RHCP fan )) .

That song is soooo sad, makes me close to tearing up. But it's also elating when it swells towards the end. It's not the kind of thing I want to listen to all the time but it's good when I'm in the right mood. Glad to know there's someone on this site that shares my taste.

I like RHCP too so that may be why I like AFP. I admit Radiohead is a bit more dynamic and varied from an artistic perspective but I like simpler music too. Well, the rythm in AFP isn't simple ( Mauro Refosco is good ) but it's not quite so up and down or dissonant as Radiohead and doesn't take so much energy to listen to.

I'm a fan of Portishead, Massive Attack, UNKLE, Modeselektor, etc...

You're right, AFP aren't simple in any respect :) ; actually, I don't even think RHCP are simple... It's just me: I'm pretty narrow when it comes to music. I tend to choose some 3 or 4 artists and stick to them for months or even years. Recently, it's been Radiohead, Massive Attack, Placebo and Noir Desir; back at the university, I was deaf to anything but Portishead and The Doors. It's really hard for me to switch to something new, even if I like it...
(I'm not so particular about classics, but anyway it's just some 20 names... and even here I can get stuck on one piece for many days).

Here's my latest obsession (it's a Radiohead thread, so I think it would be good to go back to them...) -

I'm the same way. I listen to one thing a whole bunch and then move on to something else. I really got into Radiohead like 8 years ago or so.

I really like that video. I really like time-lapse photography and it goes with the song. My own I made the other day...

and back on topic...

Looks great )) I like time-lapse videos, too, thought never tried to make one myself... should think of it...

One more thing about Radiohead:
I'm fascinated by how their live performances sometimes differ from the studio records.
For example, if we compare this:

and this:

I definitely prefer the latter. He really knows how to create the magic on stage.

I think the live versions of many of the songs predate the album versions. That explains the differences.

I've never seen Radiohead live. :(
