That gif of a guy smiling was the musician behind the band Burzum, as he was sentenced to prison for stabbing another musician to death. (Allegedly Euronymous was also planning to kill Varg...)

Of note: Burzum is a one-man band, he doesn't tour. This is claiming responsibility for some of the churches going up. He was tied to a number of church burnings, as were several other Norwegian black metal musicians. At least
50 churches were set ablaze by people associated with the scene.
