I never could figure what what he was bloody writing about ! !! !

He was establishing a mood of desperation and mystery.

Thanks ! ! I always thought he was writing about a stupid bird ! !!

It's my guess the bird carries some sort of message from the dead, a kind of messenger from Hades.

"There was a young lady from Nantucket,
who went about town with a bucket"

Oh, now I've forgotten the rest, could someone finish that for ??

There was a young lady from Nantucket
Who went about town with a bucket.
She forgot it one day
And I heard her say,
"oh well, never mind, let it go."

i am creative and stuff, but i get the same thing

a online friend (and a member here) wanted me to check some artwork she did, and specifically asked me to "spot the symbolism"

"i cant." "sure sure, is easy!"

i was CLUELESS and she was surprised.

i did notice a general dualistic-idea, but that was all.

Aside from the raw sexual fact of a lady psychologically tied to an empty bucket and the linguistic diversion intimated by the sly way of suggesting a raw expletive without outright exposure for censorship purposes there is the emotional freedom grandly advocated from mere objects which have no philosophical value and which go against the grain of the commercial society which has totally corrupted the USA and is spreading its evil influence throughout the world. It is an open cry for freedom and the delight in not being tied to material things. I thought this was obvious.
