I love Big Daddy Weave

They have awsome live performences, but the CDs are boring. No energy, no enthusiam, just music.
I'd love to see them live again! :D

I've never seen them live...maybe I should try to :P

I've got about 70-80 CDs I think. I typically download the album first, then if I like it enough I'll buy the CD, party so I have something to display on me shelf, partly to support the artist. But I've just been ripped off too many times by CDs that have the one really good single, and then every other track is s**t.

I hope you don't judge the albums based on the first time you listen to them. Often songs take a fair amount of listens to grow on you. Of course the single instantly grows on you because it's been fed to you... But other songs often take time.

I never said I listened to those CDs. I'm still reconsidering the thought of even ripping those CDs to my computer. But, why not? :D Good Charlotte's only problem is a terrible lead singer, same with Creed.

It really depends on the album and also my mood Like when I found the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex CD (drummer from the Smashing Pumpkins) I listened to it in the morning and actually got it that afternoon since I was making a trip to Best Buy anyway (and also because its an amazing album I cannot stress that enough). But I didn't buy a Fountains of Wayne CD until over a year after I downloaded it.

On the third hand  I listened through the first track of the new "Mars Volta" CD and bought it mostly on the strength of that song and the great reviews... only to find I didn't really like the rest of the album  They're talented, but pretentious and obviously are more interested in the creative process than in making a good finished product (In the 75 minute album almost 20 minutes of it is just like white noise or sounds of cars driving that doesn't go anywhere)

Awww.....You need some obscure ramdom music. I've heard of all those bands/people. Wait, do you still buy Now CDs? After 11, it was too much rap for me.
