A fellow with very bad l---
Screamed out "My life does s---",
He's growl and he'd curse,
And what's even worse,
Yell "s---,p---, G--d--- and f---!

With green beret, shield, and sword,
Hale_Bopp fought off the hoard.
With that claim to fame,
You know she'll do the same,
If needed on the WrongPlanet Board!

Have you heard of that someone WSMACK
Who tried to be good at wisecrack?
This character tried
To be classified
As a poet, but somewhere went oddly offtrack.

Here's a limerick about 'ole Tim Tex Ya'll
So Texan he could type in a drawl.
But with rocks in his head
he changed course instead
and left the Lone Star State for
... SEATTLE?

I guess that's what you get for studying rocks...err... geology

Now, wsmac, no offense intended.
Poems can leave thoughts upended.
I just have good times
Playing with rhymes.
Let's leave our relationships mended.

Expecting there'd be much ado,
I returned to this site for to view,
But as I can see
It's still only the three
Who brought this thread to page two!

It's one am in Helsinki
And I'm typing with just my right pinky
For I soon will retire
As good health does require
To a dream unbelievably kinky

wsmac p.m.'d me and said
I'd been immortalized in a WP thread
Through my talent is nonexistent
I just couldnt resist it
"Hello to you all" if I'm now dead.

wsmac, sinsboldly, and Sands talent is phenomenal
Beside them mine is pithy and comical
I was taken aback
By how wise the cracks
This thread count should be astronomical

A lady whose cats number nine,
Is finding life quite fine,
She lives a life of ease,
With tortoiseshell, Tabby and Siamese
I love all these cats of mine!

The exploits of Bannister, an Englishman
Make me his youngest fan,
Watching his four minute mile,
Makes me smile,
He made, and accomplished, his plan.

(It was hard to come up with one about Roger Bannister. It's a stretch, I know.)

9CatMom posts always make me smile
I see her in my minds eye every once in a while
Surrounded by her cats and their trappings
She quiets their yappings
Engrossed in Roger Bannister's 4 minute mile.

It's morning and here's a new day.
Time for a poet's display
Of limericks and stuff
And all sorts of guff
To evoke smiles or "oy vey!"

At the moment it seems I'm a gull.
An animal not very dull
Eats fish 'til it's fed
And s**ts on your head.
A talent decidedly null.

I must say I'm fond of cats.
Especially those wearing hats

Who let this cat loose
Driving most of us bats.
