Wow, those are absolutely stunning. I'll post some of mine up when I'm feeling less lazy and tired.

No. I'm an amatuar. I take photographs all the time though. I experiment a lot and take lots and lots of photos so then I'm bound to get a few nice ones.

Also, in case anyone's wondering that first photo was taken near Mt. Rainier in April last year. The snow was 20 feet deep. It's crazy how they keep the road plowed.

have you looked into professional photography? I think the mountain photos and the flower photos are fantastic.

what camera do you use?

Thank you. I really appreciate the compliments. I haven't looked into professional photography.

Right now I use an Olympus E-510. It has a built in image stabilizer which is really nice. It helped me take low light photos without a tripod. They're still little blurry though if you make them too big. Now I do have a tripod but I need to figure out how to carry it when hiking.

OhGodhowdidImissthisthread!!

Photography is one of my favorites... more specifically, everything Pentax, from the 1950s originals, to the BEAUTIFUL mechanical bodies of the 60s and 70s, and the plastic electronic wunderkameras from the '80s and '90s. Oh, and digital too (just got my first DSLR, used, right after Christmas with my Christmas money.) But film is my true photographic love.

Unfortunately, being a high school student at a science and math magnet school and with at least three AP courses, I don't have the time to use them properly. But i do use them, and love it.

[If I had a flickr or the like, you would see some photographs here.]
