I'm obviously kidding and dripping with sarcasm. I find Slayer to be unlistenable but posting a Slayer video in a soft rock thread is my brand of ironic humor.

I know. The Heavy Metal Devil made you do it. But Smooth Jesus made me do this:

Kenny Loggins before he turned his back on smooth music.

Well, actually I spent the first part of the 70s listening to Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplen et al, which led to Yes, ELP, Genesis, etc. Finally ended up with the Clash, the Jam, the Pretenders...just under the wire...;)

I had a real problem with mellow 70s music...unless it was background music for pr0n...;) and that was usually what they now call 'lite jazz'...;)

Yeah, Mr. Bogan, you're out of touch. You know what the kids are listening to these days? Disco, motherf***er! Turn up the power!

the only reason they listen to Disco is to annoy old fa*ts like me...;)

My daughter's 23, and she listens to country and rap...which is doublethink to me (holding two diametrically opposite ideas in your head simultaneously...;)

Actually, some Rave stuff from the 90s I rather liked. But as I put it once

Rock is about Fun
Soul is about Love
Disco is about f**king

just be glad you didn't have to live through the Disco years. Imagine every High School reunion having to put up with 'play that Funky Music'....sheesh...;)
