These are a liiiitttle bit past the timeline mentioned (1950-1964, respectively) but I really enjoy these gems by my favorite musician Keith Green, especially the second one.

More relevant than ever



While that kind of overt shunning of interracial dating sung about in "Society's Child" is lot less now than in 1967 this stuff still happens today, let the teen girl protagonist come home with person wearing clothing supporting the "wrong" political candidate, an autistic, or transgender person and see what happens.
